Jr. Pinchers Back Broke "Breaks" onto the charts in Jamaica!

Reason to Celebrate
Jr. Pinchers has reasons these days to celebrate. Back Broke his first single off of his as yet untitled 2nd album just "Broke" onto the charts this Wednesday. “Back Broke” is a fusion of Hip Hop and electronic music, a style that has been pioneered by Twinz Beatz. “Slop-tronic”, the fusion of sounds is influencing artist in the U.S. and Jamaica. Producers Twinz Beatz of SloppiShizzle Records have been creating “Slop-Hop” for some time now and they have been waiting for the industry to come full circle and catch up to them when it comes to arrangements and sound quality. Jr. Pinchers style of mixing “rapping” & “singing” in a very cohesive way is now showing up in a number of new tracks on the airwaves. This collaboration of “Twinz Beatz sound” and Jr. Pinchers “unique” vocal style can only mean one thing…”Super Smash.”

The song is infectious
Jr. Pinchers new single is very different from the material most Jamaican listeners were used to but resistance to his “new” sound soon faded when the infectious hook took hold of you. Dj. Bill Kelly the “Godfather of House” said “Back Broke is no track, this is a song!” The single is an anthem to “all things fun!” The hook says it all with “Whine until you’re Back broke! Whine till your back broke, take the dance floor and mash it up, show dem’ girls there what’s up? Whine until your Back Broke, Girl I’ll make you hot so!” Whine until you’re Back broke, whine-whine- whine!” With Sax hooks, deep base rhythms, and a pace that will wear out even the most demanding dancers. Jr. Pinchers first single will soon start filling Hospital E.R.’s with people who have thrown out their backs, on the dance floors, to this infectious rhythm.

Rave reviews on ITunes
A 5-star rating on ITunes does not hurt…The single is enjoying a healthy amount of competition from other singles released the same day by industry heavy weights like Kanye West, The Dream, and Nelly Furtado. With sales of the single reaching as far away as Australia, Jr. Pinchers is doing what he has stated in earlier interviews, "I have been in Miami for two and a half months. I have been trying to extend myself. You have to go out there and take it. You need to go out and bring people to reggae," Junior Pinchers said. Other reviews available to read on ITunes call the song, “amazing!”, “Hottest track of 2009!”, “I am obsessed, love this song”, “Jam of the summer”, and “The beat takes on a style of its own. It’s nice to hear something that does not fall into the same category as all the sub-par music that’s been coming out lately.” The single is enjoying brisk sales on ITunes and is head to head with Grammy artist. Is there a Grammy for Back broke next year?

Often imitated but never...
The single has also created an unexpected shift in the music industry in Jamaica and abroad. Twinz Beatz unambiguous sound is being imitated in several songs currently enjoying heavy rotation as a result of Jr. Pinchers new single. This “sound” can be heard when artist try to speed up a beat and then attempt to use Jr. Pinchers “rapping but sung like lyrical style” to try and compliment the song to make it “hot.” But imitations are never as good as the original. Why eat imitation crab when crab meat is the best you can get. What is Jr. Pinchers response to this? Sources, quoted “off the record “say there is a “dis track” yet to be released. If anyone gets their hands on it I am offering a small fortune for it!

Labels response?
So what does the label have to say about Jr. Pinchers new single hitting the charts this week? Or about the imitators jumping on the coat tails of Jr.’s new sound?

"We are very pleased with the work that Jr. Pinchers has been doing in the studio. The response on ITunes and other digital download sites has been better than expected, given the category of music the single falls into (Electronic). Twinz Beatz continues to produce amazing tracks and the vibe in the studio means only one thing...Platinum album." As for the imitators trying to get that Twinz Beatz sound, it would just be easier to get the original sound vs. the imitation.”

That leaves only one question? What is next for Jr. Pinchers?
