Back Broke jumps to 4,389 spins weekly!!

How Jr. Pinchers is doing despite his lack of a full blown U.S. campaign? As artist like Sean Paul, and Sean Kingston kick their campaigns in over drive here in the US. Jr. Pinchers enjoys a steady accent to the top 20 in Jamaica, a key demographic if you are an artist with an Island background.

Both Sean's are on the Top40R charts (with Sean Paul at number 22 with 1,890 spins for his single "So Fine," loosing -364 spins from the previous week). Sean Kingston sits at number 17 (with 2,365 spins for "Fire Burning," also loosing -535 spins from the previous week). In comparison Jr. Pinchers consistently gets 3,000+ spins a week since the song was pre-released on Imeem. Though he lacks a major U.S. campaign for the single "Back Broke", Jr. P's new single spun 3,769 times last week (and gained another +620 spins this week). Given the number of spins Jr. P is getting without a major U.S. campaign (total number of 4,389 spins the week of 8-10 to 8-17) he would be sitting at number 7 on the TOP40R charts ahead of Jeremih's "Birthday Sex" a popular Hip hop song, behind the likes of Drake, Young Money, Black eyed Peas, Kerri Hilson, and Pit bull, the only artist on the charts above him that has a song in his same category/Genre.

According to the streets Jr. Pinchers “Back Broke” is hotter than both Sean’s combined effort (4,255 spins combined) Back Broke would still be spinning +134 spins more a week, all without a major U.S. campaign. Don’t believe me see for yourself, I have included the chart ending 8-17 as proof that getting the streets behind you is the first step to making it big, no matter where your streets may be.

This chart is presented as an example to where the artist would sit if his campaign was in the U.S. this chart does not represent the actual chart published by All Access Music Group.

With the release of his newest dis track “Imitators” Jr. P is enjoying a steady climb on to the charts and hearts of Jamaica. As a side note “Imitators” was being downloaded a blazing 1000 times per hour for a period of 14 hours over the weekend. Since being released at 12:01 am on 8-15-09, the single has been downloaded a total of 80,000 and counting. I don’t know any major artist right now moving those kinds of numbers in this environment but the single was Free, a tease of what’s to come from his new Project, his 2nd album he is currently recording.
